Continuing College is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping community college students successfully transition to four-year educational institutions. Our mission is to provide needed information and helpful advice for community college students who desire to continue their education. We focus on several facets of the transition process: Provide information on applying for money to fund your education. Provide information on how to write a winning statement of purpose. Provide space for members to post questions and comments. And to continually expand the information available on our site to meet the needs of community college students. Our goal is to provide a much needed readily-accessible website for community college students. Through past and continuing conversations with community college students, we find that they lack sufficient college advisors, parents or other elders to consult, and/or are unaware of how to even begin a transitioning process to a four year institution. Thus, we hope to be a resource for you and will continue to expand our information as we learn what tools, advice, and resources students need. We also hope to find others who support us in our goal.
